Introducing Aegis of Athena

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

There've been some changes recently in my worldwide companions... some of us have started a new, small guild more suited to the way we like to adventure throughout Azeroth. Our new guild, Aegis of Athena, although quite young, already feels like home. And we have been forging out into new territory and revisiting old haunts in our efforts to restore peace to our world. Here are some of us taking over the Emperor's throne in Blackrock Depths last night... excellent efforts by all and I am happy to say that both the Emperor and the Princess were handily dethroned.

Meanwhile, faithful longtime companions returned to Azeroth after a brief interlude for nuptials. And last night we continued on our quest to obtain the all-important Drakefire Amulet which will allow us entrance to Onyxia's Lair. I so look forward to the opportunity to confront her in person and see what she has to say for herself. Perhaps a soothing cup of tea will cool the anger raging within her and if not, I will be happy to give her a taste of my newly-acquired Trindlehaven Staff.

Here we are escorting Marshall Windsor to confront Lady Prestor in Stormwind Castle... a rather violent confrontation followed immediately hereafter. I fervently wish for peace throughout our realm.

Molten Core Extravaganza and Taming the Wilds of Felwood

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

We returned to Molten Core on both Saturday and Sunday and Lucrifron and Magmadar were obliterated and Gehennas perished as well, twice! I do believe we are having some success taming the evil that lurks within The Core. Thursday we will forge on to the Even Meaner Beasts.

In addition to my work in the fiery depths, I have been primarily occupied with restoring order and harvesting the wilds of Felwood. I have found the demons there to be fairly weak and they carry some wonderful runes which restore my mana quite nicely. And near them and in other areas are some corrupted flowers which, when healed, bear mana-refreshing fruit. Not to mention that herbs grow in abundance in the area. Sadly the beasts of Felwood seem to be mostly wretches- whiny, snarly wolves and growly, diseased bears roam everywhere. I relieve them of their misery as best I can, but there seems to be no limit to their population. A concerted and long-term effort in Felwood is certainly the only chance for its salvation.
